We are pleased to announce the launch of the Predictive Aircraft Maintenance Conference on 11 June at The Radisson Blu Edwardian Hotel, London Heathrow.

A combination of increased computerisation and connectivity means new generation aircraft can generate massive amounts of data on each flight. Collecting and analysing that data across an entire airline fleet, or an entire aircraft fleet, is producing an insight into how systems and components really operate. Instead of removal for overhaul at fixed intervals, they can be continuously monitored and removed if their performance deteriorates.

This has huge potential for airlines and MRO organisations, and this event will seek to explore the possibilities, using case studies based on real experience from OEMs, MROs and airlines.

That experience has been accumulated over several years, in some cases, but has not really been discussed in public. This will be a real opportunity to discover how fishing in the data lake can bring tangible results – operational and financial.

Please check www.predictiveaircraftmaintenance.com for further details.

As this issue will be distributed at MRO Americas, we have slanted our editorial coverage towards North America. From the feedback, it seems that it will be a good show, there being a generally optimistic outlook from all the companies that we have spoken to.
