With Farnborough a fading memory, a show highlighting again the increased linking by OEMs of aftermarket support contracts to aircraft sales, it is time to look ahead to two important events.

October will see the industry gather in Amsterdam for MRO Europe, and it is likely to be in a buoyant mood. Demand growth is certainly continuing as aircraft numbers increase, both with new deliveries and with aircraft remaining in service thanks to passenger demand. Some MROs are reporting strong forward bookings for this winter season; some are already full up.

The other event is the fifth Aircraft Cabin Maintenance Conference to be organised by Air Transport Publications and will be taking place on 27 November at The Radisson Blu Edwardian Hotel, London Heathrow.

Along with its sister event, the Cabin Repair & Refurbishment Conference, it has developed a reputation as a unique forum, an intense day of specialised presentations combined with excellent networking opportunities with vendors and airlines.

Drawing on our industry contacts through MRO Management and Aircraft Cabin Management magazines, our speaker roster will include representatives from leading airlines, design agencies, MROs and other specialists.

The presentations will mainly be based on case studies. These shared, real life experiences provide detailed accounts of the challenges associated with reconfiguring aircraft cabins, as well as daily maintenance. In addition to offering solutions, insights into improved processes and techniques often can be applied elsewhere.

We still have speaker places left, so if you would like to participate, please get in touch.
